My name is Claire Blake and I am the manager for The Haven. I have worked at The Haven for the last 15 years and completed my levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 NVQ as well as attending many other training courses and conferences. I enjoy managing The Haven as it is a small home and I am able to get the know the residents and spend time with them which is what I enjoy the most. I have always had a passion for care and worked as a career from the age for 18, working my up to Senior then Deputy Manager and now Home Manager. I feel privileged to have a career pathway that enables me to meet and care for our residents, their family and friends.

Geoffrey Mason

My name is Geoffrey Mason, and I have been at The Haven for over 10 years. I have NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality & Catering, and Business Administration Level 1 qualifications. With over 25 years experience in catering, mostly at nursing & residential homes, I very much enjoy cooking, and know the residents, and their needs, through daily contact with them. My interests include playing snooker, listening to relaxing music, and cooking!

I am a family man, and it is with much joy to work at The Haven, like I am part of a big family home.
